# Les Briques

> Les Briques is a coliving, coworking, tea room, and wood workshop located in Lion-sur-Mer, Normandy, France — 500m from the beach, 2 hours from Paris by train.

## About

Les Briques is a multi-purpose space founded by Katia and Jean in a renovated building in Lion-sur-Mer (Calvados, Normandy). It combines:

- **Coliving**: 11 cabins (8 single, 3 double), up to 14 people. Shared kitchen, living room, garden, coworking access included. Open May to September. Community-driven: weekly family meeting (Mon 7pm), family dinner (Sat), one or two skillshares mid-week, open wood workshop twice a month (Sat 2pm).
- **Coworking**: 20 workstations in open-space with custom wooden furniture, high-speed Wi-Fi, external monitors, printer, and unlimited coffee/tea. Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm. Saturday by reservation only.
- **Meeting room**: private 4-person room with 43" 4K screen, whiteboard, AirPlay/HDMI/USB-C connectivity.
- **Tea room (Salon de thé)**: open Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, continuous service. Homemade pastries, specialty coffee, and simple savory dishes (croque-monsieur, galette de sarrasin, planches). Not a restaurant — a tea room that also serves lunch.
- **Wood workshop**: carpentry courses (beginner discovery: 3 hours, max 4 people, usually Saturday afternoons) and personalised project support, taught by Jean, a professional carpenter. Team building workshops available for corporate groups (8-14 people).
- **Privatisation (corporate offsites, team building, private events)**: privatise 1 to 4 spaces, up to 30 people for the day and 14 sleeping (11 cabins). Katia cooks breakfast (up to 30 people), lunch (up to 20, companies only) and an afterwork until 7pm, Tuesday to Friday only; on Mondays and weekends guests use the coliving kitchen or bring their own caterer (the professional kitchen is open to a cook or caterer). No music outdoors. 25+ events organised. The coliving floor (14 beds) can be rented by a group from October to April.
