Come by car
If you come by car to the Briques, a large parking lot is available to you one minute walk.

The address of the parking lot is Salle du Clos Baron, 14780 Lion-sur-Mer.
Come by bus
Several buses of Caen go through Lion-sur-Mer, every day of the week. The line 12 in particular is direct between the Caen SNCF train station and its terminus is 200 meters away from the Briques.

We recommend you to use Google Maps or Apple Plans which both have the bus schedules and will provide you the best route.

Finally you can buy your ticket (€1.60) either at the bus stop, either from the driver (cash only), either by sending 1H by SMS to 93500 just before getting on board (only if you have a French number).
Come by bike
If you come from Caen, you can take the greenway that runs along the canal to Ouistreham. Once at Ouistreham, you join the Eurovelo 4 which will take you to Lion-sur-Mer.

Google Maps knows this route, so you can use it to get to us. It’ll take around 1h15 from the Caen SNCF train station, less if you’re fast or have an electric bike.

Les Briques have a secure bike shed where it’s possible to charge e-bikes, and we also provide you with a pump and tools to repair your bike if needed.
Come by train
The closest train station is Caen. Once you arrive in Caen, you can take a bus (see above) to reach the Briques.

Caen is connected to Paris in 2h (and cost about €25), to Cherbourg in 1h10, to Le Mans in 1h45, to Rennes in 3h30 and to Rouen in 1h30.

Trains from Paris are comfortable and rarely full. You can book your tickets on Trainline.
Come by boat
Every day of the year, ferry shuttles connect Ouistreham (10 km from the Briques) to Portsmouth in England. The crossing takes 6 hours during the day and 9 hours at night: fall asleep in the United Kingdom and arrive in time for breakfast at the Briques! It is possible to travel with your car or your bike.

Once in Ouistreham you can take a bus to reach the Briques (or for long coliving stays we will come and pick you up by car). The schedules are on Google Maps.

It is Brittany Ferries that operates the crossing, you can consult the schedules and book your tickets on their website.
